What You’ll Be Doing

Guided Nature Walks: Each morning, a guide takes you on a 1-2 hour stroll through the forest. They’ll show you funky plants, like ferns that curl up when you touch ‘em, and point out animal tracks or nests. Kids get a little explorer booklet to jot down what they see—makes them feel like mini scientists.

Treasure Hunts: The highlight for kids! On day two, there’s a forest-wide treasure hunt with clues hidden in trees and under rocks. It’s not just “find the box”—there’s a whole story about a lost fairy crown or something cute like that. Takes about 2 hours, and everyone gets a small prize, like a wooden pendant.

Storytelling Nights: After dinner (think hearty campfire meals like grilled chicken and s’mores), everyone gathers around the fire for stories. One night’s spooky (but not too scary for the little ones), another’s more whimsical with forest myths. The guides are great at getting kids to chime in with their own tales.

Wildlife Spotting: No guarantees, but the guides know the best spots to catch sight of deer, owls, or maybe a hedgehog. You’ll get binoculars and tips on staying quiet. Even if you don’t see much, the thrill of looking is half the fun.

Waterfall Splash Time: On the last day, there’s a short hike to a shallow waterfall where kids can splash and parents can relax on the rocks. It’s safe, supervised, and a great way to cool off.

Crafty Bits: There’s a low-key activity where kids can make leaf rubbings or twig frames. Nothing too structured, just a fun way to keep ‘em busy while parents sip coffee.
